Ricardo, the founder of GO 4 Shuttle, started out as a driver who provided services to various travel agencies and hotels with his own transportation in Quito. Ricardo quickly realized that many of his clients had specific concerns or needs during their trips that weren't being met by the agencies or hotels. So he devised an interesting and practical plan to hire a one-day tourist transportation service directly from a hotel, without overpaying or paying hidden fees. It was the only way to discover and experience places and interact with native Ecuadorians.
However, he was surprised to discover that there wasn't a single website that offered this direct service and where you could quote departure dates and routes, and customize your private transportation in Ecuador. Thus, the idea for a business was born.Immediately after founding GO 4 Shuttle, Ricardo joined his wife, María del Carmen, as partners and right-hand women in his company, forging lasting relationships with fellow transporters in different cities across the country. Together they created a new travel agency, GO 4 Shuttle Explorer, which allowed us to cross borders, opening operations in Colombia and then Peru, which are now new partners (and in many cases, Latin American friends) to this day.

Today, from its offices in New York, United States, where it coordinates and plans its transportation and travel agency activities, what began as a crazy, local business idea has now gone international, becoming arguably the most comprehensive booking platform for tourist transportation and tourism activities, with sales of tours to Ecuador and cruises to the Galapagos.
